"An exhilarating Sardinian trip " - IL GIORNALE
PLOT: A couple of Italian secret agents receive a tip from the United States: it seems that someone in Sardinia has become the owner of the Moon. This, from the point of view of the Americans, is unacceptable, given that they were the first to set foot there and to plant the national flag. The two agents recruit a soldier who, behind the false name of Kevin Pirelli and a marked Milanese accent, hides his Sardinian identity: his name is in fact Gavino Zoccheddu and he is Sardinian through and through even if he doesn’t realize it. A cultural trainer is hired to transform him into a true Sardinian. At this point all that remains is to solve the case: who bought the Moon? And why?

Paolo Zucca was born in Cagliare, His short film L'arbitro won the David di Donatello award for Best Short.

Regarding his film, Zucca stated "the basic dramaturgical idea comes from a newspaper paragraph that told of the sale of lots on the moon by an American company. A few hundred meters from my casa, on the western cost of Sardinia, there is a large expase of limestone, extremely white and full of craters, just like the moon. So I imagine that the moon was mine.”
