"An out-of-the-ordinary love in a bizarre romantic comedy" - LA RIVISTA DEL CINEMATOGRAFO
PLOT: Renato has always been reluctant to express his feelings, avoiding relationships that required any commitment. But when he finds out that the beautiful and passionate Anna, met by chance, is under house arrest, he decides to let go and experience the feelings he had always feared. In that house, where he is Anna's only male contact with the outside world, he is convinced he can control the situation.
In love, however, there are no safe routes and soon the situation becomes more complicated.

Emiliano Corapi was born in Rome. After earning his law degree, he began shooting short films. In 2002 he won the Nastro d’argento award for Best Short Film and was nominated for the David di Donatello award for Best Short Film for La storia chiusa.

Regarding his film, Corapi stated “The story [di Love Under House Arrest] seemed to me an excellent opportunity to talk about the ability to put oneself at risk in sentimental and emotional relationships."
