Alberto Rizzi, born in Verona, is an actor, director and writer.  He graduated with a degree in film directing, worked in the film industry in Rome and finally returned to Verona to work in stage theatre.

Regarding his first film, Rizzi stated: “I wanted to create, with depth and lightness, a romantic comedy about second chances, which plunge us into life and shuffle the cards, set in the province of Emilia, in a bewildered world of provincial musicians, fishermen and saffron-colored dance halls. A hymn to life, love and friendship".
