PLOT: Pietro and Alvise are two heirs of a family of fishermen of Giudecca, the most populated island of Venice. They are at odds over the unstoppable transformation that is changing the life and identify of Venice and its citizens. Despite the hard work and loneliness, Pietro would like to continue fishing for moeche, the crabs typical of the Venice lagoon. Alvise, instead, sees their home on Giudecca as the ideal instrument to join the powerful real estate elite that rules the city. Their clash involves the entire family in a story of how our world is changing.
