DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
Massimiliano Gallo, born in 1968 in Naples, made his acting debut in theatre at the age of five and was the star of several TV series for children. In 1988 he founded, together with his brother Gianfranco, the theatrical "Gallo Company." He was nominated for the Nastro d'argento Best Actor award for Il silenzio grande and Best Supporting Actor award for Il sindaco del Rione Sanità and Anna.

Regarding his film, Gallo said: "I wanted to have the ability and the strength to tell the story from my own perspective, from my point of view. I hope I succeeded, probably because it's a story that belongs to me, that tells of the bond and hope of some young people and their desire to redeem their lives. And also because it tells of Eduardo De Filippo and his commitment to the young people of Nisida. It's a story that pays homage to the theater and its redemptive power."
