DIRECTOR'S NOTES:     MS

Marta Savina was born in Florence in 1986. Her directorial debut was the short Viola, Franca, which won the David di Donatello award for Best Short. FIlm.
Her first feature film, Primadonna, is based on that short.

Regarding Primadonna, Savina disse: "I was interested in telling a story of outsiders, a story of the least and the marginalized. It's clear that in that world being an outsider meant being on your daughter's side if your daughter tells you: I don't want to marry him".
