Just Believe
"A funny but also subtle comedy" - IL MATTINO
PLOT: Massimo is the owner of “Miracolo Italiano”, a bed and breakfast now reduced to a dilapidated state due to too few customers and too many taxes. Massimo has an epiphany: in order to survive, he has to transform the B&B into a place of worship with tax-free status. And to do that, he needs to establish his own religion: thus, "Selfism" is born!. Accompanying Massimo on his mission to tax-exemption is his sister Adriana, an irreproachable accountant, and Marco, a writer who has no following. Get ready to convert!

Alessandro Aronadio, born in Rome, graduated with a degree in Psychology. He won a Fulbright scholarship and attended the Los Angeles Film School. He is also a scriptwriter, nominated for a Nastro d’argento award for Best Original Story for Che vuoi che sia.

About Just Believe, Aronadio said: "I wanted to face the theme of religion and the need to believe; it is one of the themes of [his film] Ears. I believe there is a lot of comedy material inside religion. It is interesting how much the sacred can be humerous if the point of view is slightly changed."
